The Deep works in conjunction with a number of partners and accredited bodies both in the UK and across the world, some of which can be seen below.

Arco's mission is to keep people safe at work. Commencing this partnership in 2020 during the coronavirus outbreak, The Deep is proud to reopen its doors alongside these experts in safety.

The Deep and Arco share a home. We share the City of Hull.
We share a community in the very heart of our City, in the vibrant fruit market. The continued health and prosperity of the Humber region is vital for us and the people who share our City.

Our histories belong to the sea. The Deep aims to protect and preserve the lives within it. Arco aims to protect and preserve the lives who work upon it.

We both care about conservation. We both care about our community.  We both care about each other.

The Deep is a member of BIAZA (the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums), the professional body that represents the best zoos and aquariums in Britain and Ireland.

There are over 100 zoo and aquarium members that pride themselves on their excellent animal welfare, education and conservation work. BIAZA leads and supports its members and helps promote the work of good zoos and aquariums.

WAZA is the unifying organisation for the world zoo and aquarium community.

All members are leading zoos, aquariums, associations, affiliate organisations and corporate partners from around the world. With more than 700 million visitors annually, together we are 'United for Conservation'.

Hull University

The University of Hull’s status as an anchor institution for the region and its passion for discovery and passing on knowledge makes it the ideal partner for The Deep’s Learning Centre. Both recognised for excellence, the University and The Deep share a commitment to engaging with our local community – helping to raise academic aspirations among young people and inspiring future generations of pioneering scientists, researchers and conservationists.
