Situated underneath our 10-metre deep habitat, look up and see sharks, rays and turtles swimming right over your head!
Keep an eye out for resting sharks and hidden Moray eels beside you as you wander through the tunnel, then make your way to the exit via our Bubble Lift or Scenic Stairs.
Ginglymostoma cirratum
This bottom-dwelling species of shark is nocturnal, so they will often spend the day resting. Our Nurse shark can often be seen in his favourite resting spot beside our underwater tunnel viewing area.
Gnathanodon speciosus
Trevallies can be found in coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific region down to a depth of 80 metres. They feed on shellfish, small invertebrates buried in sand, as well as small fish.
Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos
Grey reef sharks are fast-swimming, agile predators that have streamlined bodies with long, blunt snouts and large, round eyes. Their upper and lower jaws each have 13 or 14 teeth.
Triaenodon obesus
Named after the white tips found on their fins, this species of shark can be found in the Pacific and Indian Ocean. During the day, they rest on the sandy reef bottom or in caves, usually in groups. This shark is a specialist in capturing bottom-dwelling prey in caves and crevices.
