Following on from the popularity of last year’s fully booked sessions, The Deep is once again opening its rooftop for public tours as part of the annual Heritage Open Days programme.
Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture. Each September sees a variety of buildings, homes and attractions open their doors, offering the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – all of which are free to explore.
The Deep are excited to be involved for the second year in this fantastic programme, offering an exclusive opportunity to step onto the roof of one of Hull’s most iconic attractions on the 18th and 19th September.
Both days will see rooftop tours running every 30 minutes between 10am-2pm (8 tours per day). Visitors can take in miles of stunning views over the city of Hull and the Humber estuary, alongside learning more about The Deep’s history as one of the UK’s most successful Millennium Projects, and uncovering details about the aquarium’s unique architecture.
