Award-winning conservation charity and aquarium, The Deep, is recruiting for new roles.
A number of new career opportunities have become available as the organisation enters an exciting period of growth ahead of its 25th anniversary year in 2027.
Roles available include a Night Security Guard, which involves ensuring the security of the buildings and property of The Deep overnight alongside the wellbeing of The Deep’s animals.
Recruitment is also live for a Head of HR, as The Deep wishes their current Director of Operations & People, who has been at The Deep since before its opening in 2002, all the best on their retirement journey.
In addition, an exciting and rare opportunity has been made available to join The Deep’s Aquarist Crew, responsible for animal care, maintaining exemplary species welfare standards, managing life support systems and actively participating in The Deep’s daily diving programme.
This will also include the chance to be involved in The Deep’s vital conservation, research, education and creative improvement programmes, strengthening the charitable outcomes of this iconic aquarium.
Katy Duke, Chief Executive Officer at The Deep, said:
“Ahead of our 25th Anniversary next year, we look forward to welcoming some new Crew members to further our mission as a conservation and education charity.”
“As a member of The Deep’s Crew, you will play an important part in our charity’s mission to create a deeper understanding and enjoyment of the world’s oceans and inspire positive change for their survival.”
