Megalodon tooth dark grey 8.5cm

Carcharocles Megalodon is the largest shark that has ever lived. This genuine fossil tooth was found by a diver off the Gulf coast of Florida, USA. The tooth was probably dislodged as the shark was feeding. Such fossilised teeth take on the colour of the mineral deposits that surround them. This specimen is 12 million years old. Megalodon could exceed 60 feet long and it became extinct 2 million years ago. This fascinating natural artefact is perfect as a gift for a natural history enthusiast. Order before 3pm Thursday 18th June for Father's Day delivery. Please note this item will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery costing £8.
