THE colony of leaf-cutter ants at The Deep, Hull’s landmark aquarium, are setting to work and adding a touch of romance to their home ready for Valentine’s Day. The ants, which form part of the aquarium’s Living Rivers exhibit, are making sure their home is turned into a love nest for sweethearts’ big day of the year.
The Deep is open daily from 10am – 6pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 6pm weekends & school holidays (last entry 5pm)
Car parking is available at a cost of £3 for six hours. It can become full during school holidays – alternative car parks can be found here.
