But please be assured, we are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that when we are able to open, we can offer a safe and enjoyable day out for all. We are installing a one way system, protective screens, social distancing measures and more.

When will you re-open?
At this time, we remain closed until further notice. We are planning our reopning carefully to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. We will announce our reopening date on our website and social media as soon as we can and thank you for your patience.
Will you be extending Day Plus Passes?
Yes. We will be extending all current, valid Day Plus Passes by the length of time we have been closed, to ensure you don’t miss out.
Will you be restricting the number of visitors?
Yes. We will be restricting the number of visitors every day to ensure that our building remains safe and social distancing guidelines can be adhered to. All tickets will have to be booked online (including Day Plus Pass holders). No walk ups will be accepted. You will be able to choose a timeslot when you book online.
Will all of your daily activities still be on?
Our daily schedule will be amended to ensure a safe visit for everyone.
Will your shop re-open on 15 June?
Sadly no. Shops located within visitor attractions are exempt from opening on this date, but a wide range of products are available on our online shop, and can be posted directly to you.
Can we buy tickets now?
We are unable to sell tickets at this time, but you can buy gift vouchers from our online shop and exchange them for tickets when we re-open.
Will we need to wear face coverings to visit The Deep?
We are considering the use of face coverings for staff and visitors. We will be closely be monitoring Government advice when we are able to re-open. Please note, this will not apply to young children.
