Hull Marina and Humber Street

Located adjacent to The Deep is the colourful and vibrant Humber Street. Here you can wander through the revitalised Fruit Market and enjoy a selection of independant shops, bars, gallaries, pop up events, cafes and restaurants before reaching the iconic Hull Marina. 

Humber Street is also home to Dinostar, Hull's exciting Dinosaur Museum and Humber Street Gallery which brings a vibrant, high quality, contemporary art space to Hull.

The Great Outdoors

Hull is also home to stunning parks and gardens including Queens Gardens in the heart of the city centre and just a 10 minute driva away is the 130 acre East Park where you can take a stroll, hire a swan boat pedalo, and visit the animal education centre.

Linking East Yorkshire to North Linconshire, The Humber Bridge is one of the world's longest single span suspension bridges and is a masterpiece of British engineering and a major attraction in its own right. Close by, The Humber Bridge Country Park nature reserve which is a haven for people and wildlife set against the stunning iconic backdrop.

For visitors wanting to travel slightly further afield, Bempton Cliffs is home to one of the UK’s top wildlife spectacles with around half a million seabirds gathering here between March and October.

Flamborough Head also offers a great base for birdwatching with over 200,000 nesting seabirds, including gannets and puffins. Marked by a stretch of rugged white cliffs, this areas is a perfect for those wanting to explore the Yorkshire Coast.

Finally Spurn Point Nature Reserve is located three miles into the Humber Estuary from the Holderness Coast. It is an internationally important nature reserve with sensitive, diverse and wildlife-rich habitats.

There is also a selection of seaside resorts all within a few hour’s drive time from The Deep including Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington.

The Deep is open daily from 10am – 6pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 6pm weekends & school holidays (last entry 5pm)

Car parking is available at a cost of £3 for six hours. It can become full during school holidays – alternative car parks can be found here.
