The Deep offers a group booking discount for pre-booked parties of 10 or more paying visitors. Please do not include any essential carers within your party as they are admitted free of charge on a 1:1 basis for visitors who have additional needs.

The Deep can be busy, both in term time and during the school holidays, so large groups are advised to consider visiting later in the day (from 1pm onwards).

As well as discounted entry groups can also benefit from fast track entry via our designated groups/disabled entrance (this is the one nearest to the Humber), free coach parking on site and drop off points at the main doors, free coach driver entry and free coach driver lunch as well as a free group organiser place for groups of over 20 people.

Where possible, bookings should be made in advance with payment taken at this time. Cheques should be made payable to Running Deep Ltd and sent to the Bookings Office, The Deep, Hull, HU1 4DP. Alternatively, please call us on the number below and quoting your debit/credit card number. Any unused tickets will be refunded in full on the day of your visit.

Opening Times

  • Open daily from 10am until 6pm
  • Last admission is at 5pm, although we recommended you to arrive no later than 4pm
  • We are closed on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
  • The Deep’s peak times are between 11am – 2pm, should you prefer a quieter environment please visit outside these times.
  • Car parking is available costing £3 for six hours. It can become full during school holidays. Alternative car parks can be found here.

Safety Update

The Deep takes the safety and security of its staff and visitors seriously and continue to work with Counter Terrorism Police Officers to review security regimes on a regular basis. Whilst the details of such plans cannot be shared we have in place measures to respond to changes in the threat levels for international terrorism. In light of recent events the security within the building and external spaces has been reviewed.
