Chop & Change, an innovative employment initiative supporting young people (16-19) with severe learning difficulties, is set to make a powerful impact at Humber Business Week this June.
Delivered in collaboration with The Deep, a longstanding supporter of the initiative, Chop & Change will provide lunch for the Hull Businesswomen’s Breakfast Club, showcasing the progress made by the young people whilst fostering vital discussions on workplace inclusivity.
On Thursday 5th June, guests arrive at 12pm for pre-dinners and networking, followed by a short introduction to the initiative, before a delicious 3-course lunch is served by the students at Ganton School supported by The Deep's Crew.
With a mission to bridge the employment gap for those with learning difficulties, Chop & Change works with businesses to create real-world work experiences and sustainable job opportunities. At this event, the team will highlight best practices for adapting workplaces and consulting with educators to unlock untapped talent.
Please note there will be a nominal charge for the lunch of £12.50 per person which will go directly to Ganton School to help this project support its young people.
